Additional materials and worksheets can be left with parents to review for working with their child at a later date, thus helping to reinforce what was learned at the tutoring session.

Tutoring and Skill Development
Since mastery of skills is different for each student, the Student Learning Plan identifies specific areas requiring improvement. These are addressed at each session with individualized attention, whether it be language arts or mathematics. A benefit of one-on-one tutoring is that it allows the sessions to be modified if the student is having difficulty understanding and grasping a concept. The tutors explain and review the concepts until the student fully comprehends all aspects of the subject matter. Additional worksheets, activities, etc. are provided as a way to further assist the student .
